Snipe's World

2011 CULTURAL HERITAGE SEASON SERIES

James A. "Buddy" Snipe, creates fascinating abstract painting/sculpture pieces, made of colorfully painted pieces of tin, animal bone, wood, etc. that tell stories of real life and of pure fantasy. Dyann Robinson and Bill Perry have woven these stories into a fun-filled musical play that gives a glimpse into this Macon County artists imaginative mind that is "Snipe's World", where mermaids, a talking King Snake and the Devil and his Shadow, live side by side with blues singing, storytelling, church going, human beings. It's an adventure you don't want to miss!!
